Goosby speaks on issues arising from the implementation of a corporate global HIV/AIDS policy
Pangaea’s Eric Goosby will participate on a panel on HIV/AIDS at the 91st Annual American Occupational Health Conference being held in Los Angeles on May 7, 2006. “This session will describe the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Participants will be able to identify the role that occupational/public health physicians must play in fighting the HIV/AIDS pandemic and examine the corporate response to the HIV/AIDS pandemic through the example of one multi-national corporation, including the development of a global HIV/AIDS policy and the implementation approach to deploy the policy. Topics will also include specific information about testing and treatment guidelines and best practices for HIV/AIDS, as well as the role of public-private partnerships and the importance of a coordinated effort to mitigate the HIV/AIDS pandemic.”
