Goosby Joins U.S. Delegation to UN General Assembly Meeting on AIDS
Pangaea CEO and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Eric Goosby accompanied U.S. Ambassador Mark Dybul, the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator, to the United Nations General Assembly High Level Meeting on HIV/AIDS on June 10 and 11 in New York as part of the official U.S. delegation. The purpose of the meeting was to provide a comprehensive review of the progress achieved in realizing the Declaration of Commitment on HIV/AIDS and the Political Declaration on HIV/AIDS. The high-level meeting included plenary sessions, five thematic panel discussions, and an informal interactive hearing with civil society.
