AIDS 2006: The XVI International AIDS Conference

Pangaea Global AIDS Foundation, in conjunction with the International Training and Education Center on HIV (I-TECH), presented two panels on "Clinical Mentoring and Training of HIV/AIDS Healthcare Professionals in Resource Limited Settings -- Development of New Models" on Tuesday, August 15th at the International AIDS Conference in Toronto. The expert panelists engaged in a lively discussion of mentoring programs underway around the world, and the issues and challenges that must be faced in developing effective and sustainable models for the training of healthcare professionals in the delivery of HIV/AIDS treatment and care.
